SAP Launches Global AI Customer Experience Centre in France
SAP, a global leader in enterprise software, has made a significant move in the world of artificial intelligence with the launch of its first global AI customer experience centre in France. This new centre, located at SAP Lab France, aims to provide customers with a hands-on experience with AI technology and help them identify potential use cases for their businesses.
At the centre, visitors can explore various applications of AI in fields such as retail, manufacturing, energy transition, cyber security, and even art. One of the highlights of the experience is SAP’s new AI assistant, Joule, which was introduced to simplify the user experience for all SAP systems and their extensions.
Stefan Steinle, executive vice president of customer support at SAP, emphasized the importance of showcasing the company’s latest innovations and how employees are engaging and innovating with AI. Customers are increasingly looking to SAP to help them leverage the power of AI for top-notch innovations and effortless innovation discovery.
While the AI customer experience centre is currently based in France, there is potential for SAP to replicate this model in emerging markets like Africa. Dr Jean-Christophe Pazzaglia, sustainability officer and AI centre lead at SAP Labs France, mentioned that while there are no concrete plans in place yet, the company is considering expanding the centre to other regions in the future.
SAP Labs France, located in Sophia Antipolis, is a hub for R&D projects in various areas such as new revenue models, energy transition, responsible AI, cyber security, and advanced customer support. The subsidiary is also a founding member of ICAIR (International Consortium for Anti-Infective Research) and has been a strong supporter of the 3IA Interdisciplinary Institute for Artificial Intelligence since its inception.
Overall, the launch of the AI customer experience centre in France marks a significant milestone for SAP and highlights the company’s commitment to driving innovation and empowering customers with cutting-edge AI technology. It will be interesting to see how this initiative evolves and potentially expands to other regions in the future.
